The Ghana Institute of Freight Forwarders (GIFF Ghana) has successfully concluded its 2025 National Elections during the Association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Koforidua.The elections brought together members from various districts across the country to elect national officers who will lead the Institute into its next phase of growth, advocacy, and professional development within Ghana’s freight forwarding and logistics industry.
Following a transparent and peaceful electoral process, the following officers emerged victorious:
Elected National Officers
President – Stephen Adjokatcher (Unopposed)
Vice President – Alex Asiamah (Nana Preprah I) (Unopposed)
General Secretary – Paul Kobina Mensah (PK)
Executive Member – Mrs. Regina Boateng Ahiney (Unopposed)
Executive Member – John Yao Mawuena Tordzagbo
Treasurer – Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack
The elections reflected the commitment of GIFF members to democratic leadership, transparency, and continuity in advancing the interests of freight forwarders nationwide.The newly elected leadership expressed appreciation to members for their confidence and pledged to work diligently to strengthen the Institute, enhance professionalism, and deepen engagement with industry stakeholders and regulatory institutions. The AGM also provided an opportunity for members to deliberate on key industry matters, including trade facilitation, customs procedures, port efficiency, and capacity building initiatives aimed at improving the freight forwarding sector in Ghana.
All elected officers received congratulatory messages and a forward look to a successful tenure marked by unity, innovation, and progress for the freight forwarding industry.
